Grapes and raisins
As they are very innocuous fruits, we might think that both grapes and their dehydrated version such as raisins might not be harmful to cats, however this is not the case. Eating grapes or raisins for a cat can be a serious problem that triggers kidney failure.
If your cat eats this food by mistake, you may need to contact your vet. Although it does not always happen, statistics have shown that a large number of cases in which cats eat these fruits develop kidney and liver problems, there is a specific substance in grapes that is toxic to them, and in its dehydrated version it is toxicity is multiplied by 4.
